I'm seeking new research and engineering opportunities! (2023.05 update)

I am a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am advised by Prof. Robert Kraut, Haiyi Zhu, and Diyi Yang. Recently, I completed my Master's degree (MPhil) in Computer Science Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where I was advised by Prof. Xiaojuan Ma.

I specialize in developing advanced computational methods to extract actionable insights from complex and large-scale data. I have extensive experience in analyzing massive data, designing studies, and executing projects independently, which includes tasks like data collection, processing, modeling, visualization, and communicating findings with stakeholders. My work has focused on addressing critical challenges in health, social media, and society, and has been published in top-tier computer science venues such as CHI, ICWSM, CSCW, and DIS, with more to come.

Currently, I am actively expanding my direction to design and build interactive systems and intelligent interfaces that can transform quantitative findings into effective interventions. With a robust tech background in full-stack development, applied ML, NLP, and HCI, I'm confident in my ability to contribute to any job opportunity that comes my way. Please feel free to connect with me!
